As kids, brothers Joel and John Stauss spent many summer days running through the cornfields on their family’s farm in Harvard, IL. Recently they set out on a new adventure as they have transformed part of their family’s farm into a corn maze and pumpkin patch.
The maze is more than just paths in a cornfield. This 10 acre puzzle with the theme of “Every Day Heroes” has miles of paths. It is a 10 year commemorative maze to honor the men, women and children who died on September 11, 2001. The maze is a picture of a police car, fire truck and the Twin Towers. The maze was designed and cut by Corn Mazes America, a company specializing in creating corn mazes.
Meadow View is fun for the whole family. In addition to the corn maze it includes a two acre pumpkin patch, hay rides, moon walks, a corn kernel pit, food, fall décor, campfires for private parties and more.
